Have a question that isn’t answered? Just ask.
United in NUHW, healthcare workers have won contract after contract with raises and no concessions at hospitals like Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital, where workers won a first contract with raises and no concessions, and at Keck Medical Center of USC where NUHW members fought back management demands for takeaways and bargained a contract with raises of 9.75 to 33 percent.
At Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital, NUHW members protected all of their health and retirement benefits, fought off management demands for layoffs, and won a contract with across-the-board raises after leaving SEIU. In fact, after a separate pharmacist unit voted to join NUHW at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital, the workers won the complete reinstatement of their defined benefit pension, which management had unilaterally removed before they became NUHW members.
